The Registered Dietitian 1 role is a full-time, onsite position based in Miami, FL, with compensation up to $75,000/year. This role supports the Corrections team at Summit, which provides nutritional services to correctional institutions across the United States. The role exists to identify and assess the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain individual nutritional status, and enhance quality of life consistent with patient/resident goals.

What you'll do

• Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team
• educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants
• following Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards
• interacting with other departments for dining service and nutrition policies
• participating in continuous quality improvement programs.
