What you'll do

• Maintain current knowledge of equipment, procedures, and treatments used in critical care
• safely administer medications and critical-care drugs
• document and communicate pertinent patient information
• direct and supervise LPNs, POCTs, and ancillary staff
• assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• perform crisis intervention
• monitor timely completion of physician orders
• perform defibrillation, cardioversion, and external pacing safely.
