This position is seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant who provides expertise and is a champion of patient care. The Medical Assistant prepares patients for examination and treatment, takes patient histories and vital signs, prepares exam and treatment rooms, gives injections, and assists with lab testing and phlebotomy.

What you'll do

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments
• Give injections, and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy needs
• Assist physicians in applying splints, dressings, and bandages
• Assist with transfers and scheduling of follow-up care
• Coordinate patient physicals and work place injuries
• Screen incoming calls for referral to physicians and practitioners
• Willing to travel/float between all MD Now locations within assigned Area.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assisting or completion of an approved program (BOTP)

Experience

1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting
