Electrical Estimator

Job overview

The Electrical Estimator role is onsite in Denver, CO. Pay is $80,000–$125,000 per year. The estimator supports commercial electrical project bids and works with project managers, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and field operations. The role develops accurate, competitive cost estimates by reviewing project documents, identifying scope, and calculating material, labor, and equipment requirements. It supports successful project execution through bid preparation, scope coordination, value engineering, estimate verification, and handoff to operations.

What you'll do

• Review project documents and identify scope
• prepare material, labor, and equipment takeoffs
• identify and document non-standard conditions
• coordinate with preconstruction to address scope gaps
• clarify scope with general contractors and engineers
• obtain and qualify vendor and subcontractor quotes
• assemble bid tabs
• provide value-engineering ideas
• verify estimate accuracy
• file documents
• participate in operations turnover and follow up on awards.
