The Security Officer — CCTV / Dispatcher works onsite in Montgomery, AL, on Friday through Tuesday from 9:15 p.m. to 5:45 a.m. Starting base pay is $16.75. Allied Universal provides security and facility services, and its Security Operations Center monitors security, communications, and fire/life safety systems around the clock. The operator monitors systems and cameras, responds to alarms and calls, documents events, and coordinates information between security and other departments. Accurate monitoring and communication support site safety and timely response to incidents and maintenance needs.

What you'll do

• Monitor security, communications, and fire/life safety systems
• monitor CCTV and respond to alarms
• answer emergency and regular phones and intercoms
• provide direction during emergencies
• liaise between departments
• promptly report complaints and critical events
• document routine and unusual events
• control and log equipment and keys
• complete maintenance task work orders
• report missing or inoperative equipment
• monitor two-way communications
• make emergency notifications under site orders
• recommend productivity improvements and physical security surveys.
