Grocery Stocker

The Grocery Stocker role is onsite in Pierre Part, LA. Compensation is $9–$10 per hour. The position supports the grocery department at Pierre Part Store. The stocker maintains product availability and presentation by checking inventory, rotating stock by expiration date, receiving deliveries, and replenishing shelves and displays. Customer assistance and department upkeep also support customer satisfaction and store sales.

What you'll do

• Assist customers and answer grocery-item questions
• maintain professional relationships with vendors
• take inventory and identify items for replenishment
• requisition merchandise based on stock, demand, or advertised specials
• rotate stock by expiration date
• receive and unpack merchandise and check invoices
• stock shelves and displays and verify signage
• resolve customer concerns or refer them to a manager
• clean display cases, shelves, and aisles
• transport packages to customer vehicles
• collect carts and report equipment problems.
