The Physician Assistant — Interventional Radiology role is onsite in Portland, ME. Annual salary is $121,000–$150,000. The physician assistant provides patient care and clinical support to radiologists, including selected image-guided procedures, patient assessment, and post-procedure management. The role also supports patient education, clinical staff education, and the development of care policies and processes for the radiology practice.

What you'll do

• Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations
• perform listed CT-guided, fluoroscopic, and ultrasound procedures and related placements and drain replacements
• assist with inpatient and outpatient care
• educate patients about procedures
• participate in informed consent
• manage post-procedure care
• maintain records and progress notes
• prescribe and order within licensed scope
• order and interpret relevant studies
• support staff education and practice policies.
