Electrical BIM Engineer/Coordinator

The Electrical BIM Engineer/Coordinator role is onsite in New York, NY. Pay is $95,000–$135,000 per year. The role supports Electra USA's electrical construction projects across commercial, transportation, infrastructure, and mission-critical sectors. The coordinator develops and coordinates electrical building information models and construction drawings to support constructible designs and efficient field installation. The role works with engineering, project management, field personnel, consultants, and other trades to resolve coordination issues and support project delivery.

What you'll do

• Develop Revit models
• coordinate electrical systems with other trade models
• prepare layouts, details, diagrams, schedules, and equipment drawings
• review contract documents and code requirements
• assist with electrical calculations
• participate in coordination meetings and model reviews
• support submittals, schedules, RFIs, material takeoffs, and field revisions
• conduct site surveys
• maintain project documentation and as-builts
• perform quality-control reviews
• support project closeout.
