What you'll do

• Review patient assessment requests
• interview patients and conduct nutrition assessments
• make nutrition recommendations
• follow up on physician consults
• provide nutrition education
• participate in interdisciplinary meetings and ICU rounds
• collaborate with food-service and medical staff
• correct menus and advise kitchen staff on diets and nutrition support
• chart in electronic medical records
• provide services across hospital units and at Ka‘u Hospital and Hilo Hospital one day per month.

Why this role

Registered Dietitian credential required; Hawaii license required by assignment start. Five 8-hour shifts weekly, 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; weekends required; travel expenses and time for monthly offsite services are the traveler’s responsibility.
