The Registered Veterinary Technician role is onsite in San Carlos, CA. Compensation is $35–$45 per hour based on experience. The technician provides clinical, surgical, nursing, diagnostic, and client-education support under veterinary supervision. The role contributes to patient care through anesthesia monitoring, diagnostics, treatment support, and clear communication with pet owners.

What you'll do

• Induce, monitor, and maintain anesthesia
• perform pre-anesthetic assessments and post-operative recovery
• prepare surgical suites and maintain sterile fields
• capture diagnostic radiographs
• collect and process samples and perform in-house testing
• administer medications and place IV catheters
• triage and stabilize emergency arrivals under veterinary supervision
• perform dental prophylaxis and supervised extractions
• explain treatment plans and discharge instructions
• fill prescriptions and counsel owners.
