Job overview

The Housing Coordinator role is onsite in New York, NY, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Compensation is $20.4019 per hour. The role supports the Transitional Residence for Veterans by helping residents pursue permanent housing goals. The coordinator assesses residents’ housing needs and preferences, develops community housing opportunities, and works with housing providers, the Veterans Administration, landlords, and case management staff. The role helps secure placements and coordinate leases, utilities, and move-ins while maintaining case records.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain relationships with housing providers and the Veterans Administration

  • liaise with landlords regarding leases, utilities, and move-ins
  • coordinate with case management staff
  • maintain case records and documentation
  • obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid
  • fulfill on-call responsibilities and support compliance and incident reporting.
