What you'll do

• Following shipment procedures: Ensures all shipment procedures are followed in accordance to customer requirements
• Ensures all Forklift Operators are trained in procedures and follow them. Delegation and Coordination: Ensures all Fork Lift Operators know their work responsibilities. Proper Training of new hires in: Areas of inventory knowledge, Inventory locations, Dock and Fork Lift/Clamp Truck Operations, Safety, Warehouse policies and procedures. Communication between other Warehouse Team Leads: Provides written and verbal communication to other team leads to provide coordinated efforts for highest department efficiency. Preparing finished product to ship to customer: Adheres to performance standards in quality and quantity (Checking for damages as well as count)
• Prints Bills of Lading. Ensures good housekeeping within the warehouse. Ensures 5s in all warehouse areas. Ensures staffing availability and escalates to warehouse supervisor. Others as needed described in standard work.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent, Experience in general warehousing, manufacturing or distribution, Min 2 years of experience as Fork Lift Operator preferred, Certified Fork Lift Operator
