Mitigation Technician

What you'll do

• Assess damaged properties and identify mitigation needs
• perform water extraction, structural drying, dehumidification, demolition, moisture mapping, and assistance with mold remediation and fire or smoke cleanup
• document photos, moisture readings, job notes, and materials
• set up and monitor air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA filtration units
• coordinate with team members and project managers
• follow safety, PPE, and regulatory requirements
• communicate with clients
• participate in rotating on-call shifts, including nights and weekends
• maintain vehicles and equipment and prepare trucks for emergencies.
