The specialist manages study financial operations across the trial lifecycle, helping ensure accurate billing, timely revenue collection, and reliable financial tracking. The role works with study coordinators, the Clinical Research Manager, and other personnel to resolve financial and documentation issues.

What you'll do

• Prepare sponsor invoices based on study budgets, contracts, payment schedules, and billable activities
• maintain invoice support and address billing inquiries and disputes
• monitor receivables and follow up on overdue payments
• record and reconcile payments in QuickBooks Online
• investigate payment discrepancies
• prepare financial reports and analyze study performance
• maintain financial records and improve CTMS workflows
• develop and review clinical trial budgets
• monitor CTMS documentation of billable activities.
