What you'll do

• Greet and register guests
• assign rooms, issue keys, and set wake-up calls
• act as manager on duty and follow emergency and guest-satisfaction procedures
• balance accounts and reset systems for the next business day
• complete night audit procedures and reports accurately and on time
• follow security procedures
• communicate guest requests and problems to appropriate departments
• answer questions about hotel services and local attractions
• check out guests, process payments, and make deposits
• manage reservations and phone calls
• maintain shift logs and front-desk cleanliness
• perform laundry duties depending on business unit.
