Maintenance Technician — First Shift

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Aurora, IL, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; pay is $24–$29 per hour. The role supports production operations by keeping manufacturing equipment operating effectively. The technician performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical issues, and responds to equipment breakdowns to reduce downtime. The position also works with operators and maintenance leadership on safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Maintain company machinery and equipment
• perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
• take control of breakdowns
• troubleshoot issues with machine operators and identify root causes
• respond to and prioritize maintenance requests
• improve machine safety and housekeeping
• maintain maintenance-shop organization and tool inventory.
