Corporate Tax Manager – Research & Development

The Corporate Tax Manager – Research & Development role is onsite in Arlington, VA. Compensation is $112,000–$150,000 per year. The manager leads R&D tax credit engagements and provides technical tax analysis, helping deliver high-quality client work and support business development. The role contributes through project oversight, tax research and computations, reporting, and mentorship of junior team members.

What you'll do

• Lead R&D tax credit projects from inception to completion
• conduct client-site fieldwork and facility tours
• analyze accounting information and prepare cost schedules
• perform tax computations and draft technical reports
• manage multiple engagements, timelines, and budgets
• research federal and state R&D tax issues and case law
• support proposals and business development
• oversee preparation and amendment of tax returns
• mentor junior team members.
