What you'll do

• Manage criminal defense cases from assignment through resolution
• develop legal strategies, investigate evidence, negotiate with prosecutors, and advocate in court
• handle motions, evidentiary hearings, bench trials, and jury trials
• prepare and examine witnesses, including experts
• represent clients in related civil proceedings such as expungements
• communicate with and guide clients
• mentor junior attorneys
• collaborate with legal support staff and improve case preparation and workflows.
