Planner/Estimator

The Planner/Estimator role is onsite in Franklin, MA, and is full-time. Compensation is $60,000–$85,000 per year. The role supports Plansee USA’s Franklin site, which transforms semi-finished molybdenum and tungsten products into complex components. The position connects estimating and production planning to help ensure accurate costs, feasible schedules, and reliable manufacturing data. It coordinates with shop-floor, engineering, sales, suppliers, and subcontractors so production orders, product revisions, and delivery commitments are supported by current information.

What you'll do

• Create and maintain SAP cost estimates, material masters, bills of material, routings, and related master data
• review planned versus actual costs
• provide lead times
• analyze and confirm sales orders based on capacity and material availability
• create production orders and communicate critical dates
• maintain production priorities and resolve scheduling conflicts
• coordinate tooling, fixtures, CNC/CMM program needs, and process documentation
• update product revision documentation
• support process optimization, cost reduction, and ISO/AS9100 compliance, including ITAR/EAR-related work.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma and three years of estimating and planning experience in manufacturing. A two-year degree or machine technology certification is preferred. Applicants must be authorized to access export-controlled information without a license.
