The Electrical Engineering Manager – Industrial Electrification role is onsite in Canton, MI. Starting annual pay is $111,000–$120,000. The role leads the Industrial Engineering – Electrification Team and supports industrial electrical projects for D-Riven and its customers. The manager provides technical leadership for industrial power distribution design and installation planning, directing engineering and field resources to deliver safe, code-compliant projects. The role coordinates design, project planning, equipment installation, and field troubleshooting from assessment through execution.

What you'll do

• Uphold company and customer health and safety standards
• lead the Industrial Engineering – Electrification Team
• direct site surveys and power distribution designs and installation plans
• evaluate existing systems and generate one-line drawings
• lead or approve system designs
• optimize designs for materials, lead times, downtime, and installation
• follow electrical and building codes
• coordinate project costing, quoting, timelines, and resources
• develop material lists and source compatible components
• direct electricians and subcontractors
• manage senior electrical engineers and superintendents
• verify lock-out/tag-out
• support troubleshooting
• review and approve electrical equipment installation
• coordinate with low-voltage and controls specialists
• conduct arc-flash studies and generate labels.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, 15+ years of relevant combined experience, industrial electrical engineering experience, and experience operating aerial lifts and powered equipment. Nights, weekends, variable schedules, and additional hours may be required.
