The role leads complex tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals and related entities, combining technical review and client tax planning with staff supervision, training, and practice development to support client service and the tax department’s goals.

What you'll do

• Manage preparation and review of individual, trust, and gift tax returns
• technically review and approve tax returns of any complexity
• participate in client meetings and tax planning
• advise tax preparers and specialists on tax issues
• communicate relevant tax developments to firm personnel
• manage governmental tax examinations and potentially represent clients before taxing authorities
• supervise and train tax staff
• assist with recruiting, performance evaluations, training materials, and professional development
• monitor economic and legislative trends affecting clients
• participate in practice development and community and industry activities.
