The Field Technician (Mechanic) — Pump, Power & HVAC role is onsite at EquipmentShare’s Advanced Solutions rental facility in Carlsbad, NM. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with overtime pay after 40 hours; the role is subject to on-call scheduling with additional compensation. Compensation is not specified. EquipmentShare’s technology supports contractors and communities through equipment services and real-time support. The technician maintains and repairs customer- and company-owned pump, power, and HVAC equipment. The role uses work-order technology to diagnose issues, track service intervals, order parts, document work, and support equipment setup and service at the shop or customer sites.

What you'll do

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders
• track service intervals and order parts
• perform preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors
• troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and customer locations
• set up and operate equipment
• assist with training lower-level technicians as needed
• document work orders
• assist with equipment and parts pickup and delivery.
