What you'll do

• Review electronic and paper medical records
• create and assign chart deficiencies
• scan paper records into electronic encounters
• use EMR reports and work queues to support record completion, coding, release of information, and record maintenance
• respond to information requests and retrieve records
• identify duplicate medical record numbers
• manage analysis work queues
• contact providers about record completion
• prepare delinquent chart and charge reports
• support physician education and employee cross-training.
