Job overview

The Water and Electric Meter Reader role is an onsite, full-time position in Bartow, FL. Compensation is $15 per hour and overtime pay is available after 40 hours per week. Alexanders Contract Services has read meters for municipalities and privately owned companies since 1967. This role records water and electric meter usage with an electronic handheld device, helping ensure readings are accurate and delivered on time. The reader also follows safety and quality measures and interacts with customers while working across assigned areas.
