Part-Time Water Operator

Job overview

The Part-Time Water Operator role is onsite in Pleasant Grove, UT, with pay of $16–$18 per hour. The position works under the direction of the Water and Sewer Division Manager. The operator assists with construction, operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of culinary water, pressurized irrigation, and sanitary sewer infrastructure, helping maintain utility services and related records.

What you'll do

• Assist with inspecting, maintaining, and repairing water lines, sewer lines, and pressurized irrigation systems
• read water meters using touch-read, manual, or remote-read technology
• travel assigned routes on foot or by vehicle
• may perform service disconnects, reconnects, new service orders, and investigative inquiries
• maintain inspection, maintenance, meter, and consumption records.
