Job overview
The Evening Controls Technician is an onsite role based in Shawnee Mission, KS, with a starting pay of $27.00 per hour. This role exists to ensure production reliability by troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and PLC control issues on equipment. The technician will perform repairs, document maintenance activities, and collaborate with technical staff to improve machine performance.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC problems
- perform repairs
- use ladder logic programming (RS Logix 500/5000)
- document maintenance in EAM system
- maintain program backups
- assist with machine improvements.
