The Breast Cancer Nurse Navigator role is onsite at the Desert Mountain Medical Plaza in Scottsdale, AZ. Compensation is not specified. The registered nurse guides patients through imaging, procedures, results, treatment planning, and care transitions while providing education and advocacy. The role helps coordinate personalized care, communicate clinical information, and connect patients with appropriate resources and support services.

What you'll do

• Assist with diagnostic and specialty procedures, including ultrasound, CT, PET, MR, nuclear medicine, and mammography
• obtain patient history
• coordinate communication among patients and providers
• explain procedures and treatments
• administer prescribed medications and treatments
• monitor patient comfort, vital signs, and responses
• document patient information
• respond to urgent and emergent situations
• work flexibly across multiple locations.

Why this role

Requires an Arizona registered nurse license, BLS, ACLS, and excellent IV placement and chest port access skills. Breast patient navigator certification is preferred or must be completed within six months of hire.
