Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) is an onsite role in Tampa, FL, embedded with U.S. Government customers. Compensation is $120,000–$200,000 per year. The role is in the Administrative and Logistics Support department and supports secure operation of a mission-critical data and application platform. The ISSO serves as the primary authority for system security and compliance, partnering with engineering, operations, and customer security teams. The role supports accreditation, implements and validates security controls, and maintains evidence and documentation throughout the system lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Serve as the onsite security and compliance point of contact
• support system accreditation and authorization using RMF or DIACAP
• collaborate with engineers to implement security controls and configurations
• assess software against security requirements
• maintain SSPs, POA&Ms, control narratives, and supporting artifacts
• generate and organize compliance evidence
• support audits and assessments
• coordinate security across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments. Active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility is required.
