Material Handler

Job overview

The Material Handler role is onsite in Houston, TX, with compensation of $16–$19 per hour. The position supports production, shipping, and receiving operations at a manufacturing facility. The handler moves, stages, identifies, and prepares materials so production teams and shipping operations receive the right items in a timely manner. Accurate inventory tracking, safe equipment use, and material traceability support quality and efficient facility operations.

What you'll do

• Move and organize raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products
• transport materials between storage, production, and shipping areas
• assist with loading and unloading using approved equipment
• stage materials for production
• label and track inventory
• inspect for damage or discrepancies
• prepare finished products for shipment
• maintain safe, organized work areas.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED is preferred. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or material-handling experience and forklift or overhead crane experience are preferred but not required; company training may be provided.
