Senior Machine Learning Engineer

The Senior Machine Learning Engineer role is onsite in El Segundo, CA; compensation is $150,000–$240,000 per year. The engineer supports Circadia Health’s healthcare AI platform, which serves post-acute care patients and aims to prevent avoidable hospitalizations and improve senior-care operations. The role owns clinical prediction models from development and evaluation through deployment and monitoring. It builds reliable evaluation infrastructure, works with clinical teams to define and assess targets, measures model performance across settings and populations, and contributes evidence for validation studies and regulatory submissions.

What you'll do

• Design, train, and evaluate clinical prediction models using physiological time series and structured EHR context
• define prediction targets with clinical teams and build adjudication workflows
• develop evaluation, backtesting, and regression infrastructure
• assess clinical performance and alert burden
• analyze robustness across facilities, settings, and demographics
• support production deployment and monitoring
• contribute to validation studies and regulatory submissions.
