What you'll do
- Operate furnaces for annealing, hardening, tempering, and other heat-treatment processes
- monitor temperatures, cycles, and furnace atmospheres
- load and unload materials
- inspect finished components
- maintain temperature logs and production records
- prepare parts
- perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting
