Medication Specialist

The Medication Specialist role is onsite in Fall River, MA. Compensation is $20.52–$20.93 per hour. The position is an integral part of the Program Team and supports consumers in a structured setting. The role exists to oversee medication protocols and adherence while helping maintain a safe environment for consumers. Accurate logs, observation, and communication with clinical staff support continuity and safety of care.

What you'll do

• Supervise consumers during shifts, including hourly rounds
• maintain accurate medication logs
• train employees on medication protocols and observation
• monitor medication refrigerator temperature
• complete medication discontinuation and destruction protocols
• orient and monitor consumers on medication guidelines
• count, document, and observe prescription medication use
• collect and supervise drug screenings and administer breathalyzers as needed
• communicate consumer concerns to the clinical team or prescribers
• respond to emergencies and contact emergency services when needed. Schedule may include first, second, or third shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Why this role
