The Medical Scribe — Neurology Office role is onsite in Miami Lakes, FL, paying $20–$24 per hour. The position supports the Design Neuroscience Center’s neurology office and its patient care operations. The scribe supports providers by documenting clinical encounters in real time, preparing patients for exams and procedures, and assisting with related clinical and administrative tasks. Accurate records and coordination with providers and staff help maintain an efficient, patient-centered workflow.

What you'll do

• Greet and room patients
• record vital signs and chief complaints
• document histories, medications, allergies, exam findings, results, and treatment plans in eClinicalWorks
• maintain HIPAA confidentiality
• transmit prescriptions under physician supervision
• review and edit provider notes
• prepare patients for neurological exams and procedures
• assist with in-office procedures and diagnostic test preparation
• administer injections and medications as directed
• clean and restock exam rooms
• process refills and prior authorizations
• handle patient messages, calls, and pharmacy requests.

Why this role

Bilingual English and Spanish is required. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training. CMA/RMA certification is preferred; at least one year of clinical experience is required.
