What you'll do

• Explains procedures and positions patients to correctly capture images requested by a physician.
• Operates CT equipment, which produces cross-sectional images of patients’ bones, organs and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions.
• Demonstrates competency in patient preparation, assessment, and IV procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge of contrast agents, technical factors affecting patient dose, and image quality.
