What you'll do

• Support and guide sales associates in merchandise handling and product knowledge.
• Facilitate associate experience and development through training, mentoring, and coaching.
• Delegate and validate daily tasks.
• Lead and direct associates when acting as leader on duty.
• Address associate complaints and grievances.
• Recognize and celebrate associates driving engagement.
• Execute merchandise strategies, including receiving product, placement, displays, and promotions.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct audits, and analyze sales trends.
• Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions.
• Maintain store standards and ensure compliance with policies.
• Oversee store opening and closing procedures.
• Responsible for pet care maintenance, including cleaning, feeding, and caring for new/sick pets.
• Ensure positive pet parent experience with online orders.
• Take immediate action for sick/injured pets.
