Crisis Hotline Phone Counselor — Part-Time

What you'll do

• Assess callers’ presenting problems, support systems, coping skills, and emergency level
• provide supportive counseling, crisis intervention, and suicide-prevention support
• de-escalate callers and triage them to appropriate care
• conduct lethality and safety assessments
• dispatch resources when necessary
• document cases
• develop crisis plans and follow-up tasks
• connect callers with community resources and internal services.
