Second Pressman Feeder — Second Shift

The Second Pressman Feeder role is onsite in Fitchburg, MA, with compensation of $25–$27 per hour. The position supports Oliver Inc.’s pressroom in producing printed packaging products for customers. Working alongside Lead Pressmen, the feeder assists with press setup, production, quality checks, and equipment upkeep. The role helps maintain consistent print quality and safe, efficient production while building pressroom skills.

What you'll do

• Review job orders, instructions, proofs, and production specifications
• assist with press setup and installation or removal of plates and blankets
• adjust press guides and detectors
• monitor fountain solution and replenish inks, coatings, and supplies
• wash press components between jobs
• operate scanning densitometers
• assist with quality evaluation and identification of non-conforming materials
• help with preventive maintenance, roller changes, and minor repairs
• move finished product to staging
• maintain a clean, safe work area
• assist in training Press Apprentices
• provide Lead Pressman coverage during breaks when needed.
