Direct Support Professional

The Direct Support Professional role is onsite serving a client in the Gilbertsville, PA area, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pay is $17–$20 per hour. Integrity Support Solutions provides support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and mental health challenges. The role provides individualized care and assistance while supporting clients’ independence, daily living skills, socialization, community involvement, and ability to express choices. It contributes by following individual and behavioral plans and building safe, supportive relationships.

What you'll do

• Implement individual and behavioral plan goals
• update daily case notes
• help individuals develop social, behavioral, housekeeping, and daily living skills
• assist with meals and personal hygiene
• support recreational, social, and community activities based on individual preferences and goals
• supervise skill-building activities
• encourage social networks
• protect individuals’ rights and maintain supportive relationships.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED is required. A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and acceptable motor vehicle record are preferred; First Aid and CPR certification must be held or acquired.
