The IDSA Foundation supports infectious disease clinicians, scientists, and public health experts working on research, preparedness, and public health response. The director leads fundraising strategy across major and individual gifts, planned giving, and family foundations. By building donor relationships, strengthening stewardship, and managing the fundraising pipeline, the role supports the Foundation’s goal of growing philanthropic revenue and sustaining IDSA’s work.

What you'll do

• Manage major gift donors and prospects
• develop cultivation and solicitation strategies
• conduct donor engagement
• lead planned and legacy giving
• develop physician, member, and board philanthropy
• engage Foundation Board members, alumni, and volunteers
• prepare donor briefings and fundraising materials
• supervise and develop a Grants Manager
• build family foundation and donor-advised fund relationships
• oversee stewardship and recognition
• lead pipeline strategy, performance tracking, and revenue forecasting.
