The Dietary Aide / Food Prep role is onsite in Townshend, VT. Compensation is $18–$19 per hour. Grace Cottage Family Health & Hospital provides patient and staff food service in a healthcare setting. The aide organizes and prepares meals that meet patient nutrition needs and special diet requirements, while maintaining food safety and sanitation. The role supports the dietary team and helps ensure meals are prepared accurately and served in a safe, compliant kitchen.

What you'll do

• Organize and prepare food production for patients, staff, and functions
• prepare meals and baked goods using standardized recipes and dietary requirements
• maintain food safety and sanitation according to regulations and CMS guidance
• clean and sanitize equipment and work areas
• support quality control and therapeutic diet compliance
• communicate with the Dietary Director and staff
• may train new staff and may collect lunchtime meal payments.
