Operations Supervisor

• Manage employee schedules and time-off requests

• communicate with management, staff, and vendors
• develop and maintain quality assurance protocols
• improve operational processes
• ensure activities stay on schedule and within budget
• conduct safety inspections
• monitor freight movement
• make staffing decisions based on volume
• work assigned shifts as needed
• train employees on safety
• coordinate dock assignments, loading, and unloading
• coach direct reports
• collect operational metrics and work with support teams to improve tools and systems.

Why this role

The five-day schedule is assigned within a Sunday 8:00 a.m. through Saturday 7:00 p.m. operating window and includes either Saturday or Sunday. High school diploma or GED required; three to five years of management experience or training is preferred.
