Through assessments, monitoring, medication administration, care planning, and coordination with Patient Care Technicians and the interdisciplinary team, the role contributes to continuity and quality of renal care.

What you'll do

• Provide dialysis treatment
• complete and document pre- and post-treatment physical assessments
• monitor patients during treatment
• review medication profiles monthly and administer medications according to physician orders
• participate in patient assessment and care planning
• help ensure staffing requirements are met
• follow policies, laws, and regulations
• attend required meetings and continuing education.
