What you'll do

• Schedule office- and hospital-based procedures, diagnostic tests, and imaging
• coordinate equipment and anesthesia arrangements with vendors and hospitals
• enter scheduling notes in the electronic medical record
• document informed consent
• provide patients with preparation and arrival information
• confirm insurance and prior authorization needs
• coordinate medical clearance and pre-surgical testing
• make pre-procedure calls
• and arrange follow-up appointments.
