Vice President of Construction (Solar) - Remote, US. This is a full-time, remote position with up to 50% travel. Wanzek Construction, part of MasTec Renewables, is a leading construction firm in the renewable energy sector. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for the solar construction division, driving excellence in project execution and optimizing performance.

What you'll do

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the solar construction division.
• Drive excellence in project execution, unlock new revenue opportunities, and optimize performance.
• Lead, promote, and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures.
• Develop the strategic plan for the business unit and ensure its implementation.
• Responsible for the overall profitability of the division.
• Achieve client satisfaction goals.
• Responsible for the effective hiring, training and retention of employees.
• Manage and supervise teams directing Project Managers and Field Superintendents.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Construction Management, Engineering, or related major or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

15 years of construction experience in large industrial construction companies or similar/related industries.
