What you'll do

• Greet and direct patients
• coordinate registration and update patient information
• verify insurance and payment details and collect copays or balances
• enter patient data into the EMR
• monitor patient flow
• organize provider schedules
• answer calls, emails, and inquiries
• process and route faxes
• maintain the waiting area
• handle records in accordance with HIPAA and applicable regulations
• maintain confidentiality.
