Security Officer – Hospital

Job overview

The Security Officer works onsite in Stockton, CA, in a hospital environment. Pay is $21 per hour. Allied Universal provides security and facility services to customers and communities. The officer helps protect patients, staff, visitors, and property through patrols, access monitoring, incident documentation, and emergency response. The role also supports hospital staff with patient-related situations and escorts as needed.

What you'll do

• Patrol hospital grounds on foot or by vehicle and document unusual conditions
• assist staff with de-escalation and restrain combative individuals when necessary within guidelines
• transport patients to the morgue as needed and assist with helicopter-pad escorts
• assist with evacuations
• sound alarms or contact emergency services
• monitor entrances and exits
• investigate incidents and maintain written logs.
