The Automotive Installation 12-Volt Technician role is onsite in Olathe, KS, and pays $18–$24 per hour, depending on experience. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; some overtime is available. LEHR provides vehicle upfitting solutions for police, fire, utility, and other essential fleets. The technician installs and services 12-volt electronics and related hardware in vehicles, then tests completed work to confirm functionality. The role supports customer-specific vehicle builds and the reliable operation of safety and electrical systems.

What you'll do

• Install new and refurbished 12-volt electronics to customer specifications and company protocols
• mount hardware such as cages, push bumpers, and equipment boxes
• remove or repair defective components
• troubleshoot, inspect, test, and repair electrical systems
• document installation and service work
• perform post-installation tests
• provide customer service
• meet allocated build-time targets.
