What you'll do

• Consult with residents, families, and physicians on care planning
• notify physicians and next of kin of condition changes
• observe and evaluate residents’ physical and emotional status
• ensure direct care is provided by qualified staff
• review nursing notes
• provide direct nursing care
• start IVs and collect specimens as ordered
• take vital signs
• admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed.
