It contributes to production quality and safe operations by fitting, assembling, measuring, documenting, and maintaining parts and equipment.

What you'll do

• Operate a variety of production equipment and tools
• may set up tools, gauges, and equipment to meet part specifications
• operate a crane
• assemble and disassemble metal plates
• replace plates and hoses for machine upkeep
• complete customer-specific production paperwork
• fit, adjust, assemble, straighten, or pack parts
• use measuring tools to verify quality
• maintain records and a safe, clean work area
• follow verbal and written instructions. Additional processes may include press operation, welding, assembly, packing, bending, drilling, and other listed utility operations.
