What you'll do

• Collect and prepare blood and non-blood specimens
• assess specimen quality
• perform and report CLIA-waived and approved tests
• process specimens for testing, storage, shipment, or reference labs
• prepare slides and load instruments
• coordinate unclear orders with providers, nursing staff, or reference labs
• maintain compliance, documentation, and clean, stocked work areas.
